Pain

I started working out last week and I'm planning on working out three times a week minimum. This morning by body hurts. Sore back, sore legs and I'm left wondering if this will keep me from the gym today and/or tomorrow. I hope not. If I let this keep me from going just once there's a chance that I'll find it easier and easier to just miss or skip working 0ut. And that wouldn't be good.

Sadly, that's what I've found. I had to stop walking, and now "things" have gotten in the way. I hope you keep going! Even something easy & light is good, just to keep doing it. Good luck!

You know, working out is good for sore muscles. I know it is hard to convince ourselves of that (me especially!) but I also know it is true. When you work out, your muscles get sore. The best and fastest way to help them feel better is to do it some more!

I don't plan to quit or let the pain slow me down...I'm just sharing my thought process. If my knees start to hurt, in the bone not the muscle, then I would take a break...no reason to risk something that could end up needing surgery.

I'm heading out tonight to walk again. It's been too many days. It's easy to stop once you've stopped. I have no doubt you'll keep it up!
