I remember noticing that my cravings were next to none when I started. I think part was because I was mentally focused and part was because of the Hoodia. Now I think the mental part is failing and have not been taking Hoodia twice a day like I was and some days I don't take it at all.
Here's a excerpt from an article from the Washington Post (reprinted without permission)
Made from a succulent that grows in South Africa and Namibia, Hoodia is a purported appetite suppressant said to help indigenous tribes make long treks through the Kalahari desert with little food. Hoodia gained national attention when it was featured on CBS's "60 Minutes" in 2004
I would never take Hoodia just to not be hungry. I take Hoodia within a regular protein program with daily multivitamin program. I think those wanting to lose weight by taking the Hoodia or other similar products are just throwing away money. You need to be eating healthily and getting your vitamins.
Hoodia is really expensive. $90 for 180 pills or a three month supply. Hoodia can be purchased most anywhere. I buy mine at the GNC in Spencer, IA. That's also where I buy my protein and my multivitamins.
