That's the real challenge. The mental game with weight loss. One would think that after a year and then some the weight loss would be easier. And I'm finding different things temp me that wouldn't have when I started and even a couple of months ago.
And what I'm more aware of now is I'm not actually hungry as much as I think something with either taste good or fill some other need. It is all mental.
There are bigger battles all the time. I always knew that once I got going that I would have to remain on my program for life. To be able to maintain and not gain weight. I guess overeating might be comparable to being an alcoholic in a way...where no matter how long you've been sober staying off of the bottle is always a challenge. Same thing with eating. That dessert or extra helping is always calling your name.
