Space Camp Diet

I went to Space Camp this past week with my 11 year-old son. I decided to go with the flow and eat as the campers ate and just do my best. The food served is designed for kids. Not for adults.

On Wednesday morning I had my proetein shake before leaving for Space Camp. And on the bus on the way to Space Camp I had a couple of Nutrigrain bars and Coke Zero. Then I was left to the Space Camp folks for my next five meals.

Wednesday dinner consisted of a hamburger, french fries, a banana, Diet Coke and Hohos.

Thursday breakfast was scambled eggs, saugage, french toast sticks, tator tots, orange joice, a choice of fruit and cold cereal.

Thursday lunch was a hot dog with green beans, chips and salad with Diet Coke.

Thursday dinner was Chicekn Fingers with mashed potatoes and Diet Coke.

Friday breakfast was the same as Thursday breakfast.

On the way back home we stopped where there were a lot of fast food style restaurants. My group went to the A & W and I had a burger and onion rings.

The end result? I weigh the same Saturday morning as I did Wednesday before we left.

sounds like grandpa would have loved the food at space camp since he ate off the children's menu at the hospital when he had his hip replacement years ago..
