This morning's weigh in was positive yet again...284.6 pounds.
On Friday night we bought some 93% lean ground beef and weighed each serving to 4 ounces. Made bigger burgers than we thought. No buns allowed but tomato, onion and yellow mustard are allowed...as is any kind of salad. We also can eat an apple a day and strawberries. Once we complete phase one (3-6 weeks) we can increase what we eat with limiting anything with refined sugar...much like the South Beach diet.
So far we've eaten a lot of chicken, a fair amount of fish and some lean ground beef.
The diet is limited to lean meats and salad. It is getting a bit boring so I do wonder if the limited diet will begin to take its toll. At the same time, the overall interest in food is less so there's a trade off.
Since last Sunday I'm down 13 pounds and my wife is down 8 (she's hasn't weighed this morning) so the positive results should make easier to continue.
