How Bad I Had Become

One thing I used to say as I portioned up way too much food is "I have eaten ALL DAY!" Like that should excuse me for being a fat slob. While sometimes the truth is I haven't eaten since breakfast or at all due to being lazy in getting ready for work and not bringing money or a lunch and being out of town all day, the truth of the matter is my stomach is still the same size it was this morning or the day before. And if you notice, when you really are hungry, the desire for food (the physical desire) goes away almost immediately after the first bite or two.

One thing I'm trying to do is always have my shakes. I don't want to leave it behind or just not take the time to make it due to having to 'get' somewhere. If I forget (it hasn't happened since I started the program) I will buy a bottle of water and just tough it out.

One thing I have notice is I'm not wanting to eat as much. I think one thing that has worked for me is I mentally prepared for this over several months before I began. I wanted to be in the right place mentally before I jumped into this...one reason being I don't want to fail. I don't plan on gaining back the weight once it's gone.
