I got on the scale tonight and I weighed 304. Much better than the 310 the scale said this morning. I don't think I lost six pounds during the day...but I tell you this: I'm going with the 304 reading. That's in line with the progress I've been making.
What I need to do is stick with the weekly weigh ins and leave it at that. I don't want to focus on the weight loss actual weight...I want to focus on the health factor...because that will be the ultimate test.
While I'm not saying this to make an excuse but just because someone is thin doesn't mean they're healthy and just because someone is over weight doesn't mean they're unhealthy. When I had a physical last spring the only real concern was my weight. My cholesterol was higher than it had been in the past but wasn't at a dangerous level.
Anyways...I'm just need to get back to focusing on the eating healthy, exercising and being healthy.

Good for you. It's nice to see the numbers where they're supposed to be. And yes, it's for the health, but the numbers sure make us feel better, don't they? You're doing great.
i agree...you can be over-focused on the numbers......there are different thoughts on weighing..we each have to do the weigh-in thing that fits for us......
