While stepping on the scale each day twice a day can be a hard task. I now believe it is one of the better ways to keep from gaining too much weight. That and having a wife who will pleasantly remind me...you're trying to lose weight...
Anyways...after going the wrong way on the scale over the past couple of weeks (after hitting a low of 258 I saw the scale creep back to 270) I'm now happy to say the scale is now working its way back down. Last night before going to bed the scale said 266 and this morning is was at 263.
Control and listening to my body along with stepping on the scale are three things that I feel anyone must do to lose weight. It amazes me at how easy it is to pack on the pounds. It certainly doesn't take much...that's for sure.

The ups and downs are really part of it. I should probably step on the scale more than I do. I'm not gaining quickly, but I'm definitely not losing, either. D is having a hard time with the maintenance part now. If only we could just eat whatever, whenever and as much as we wanted and still look the way we'd like to look. Good for you for staying focused on this journey.
Good for you. What a journey this is! But you are doing such a great job and taking your time so at the end of it, you should be able to maintain.
