A nice message...just in time...

I have been posting recently about comments and how they can motivate when you're working toward a goal. And how once you start maintaining the comments can get fewer and fewer and then it becomes easier to fall back and gain weight.

Well I am truly blessed to have good people surround me. My wife has been supportive with finding great ways to make wonderful desserts with low calorie counts. My Mom has been great with lots of comments to my posts and positive reinforcement.

Recently I paid to list my domains I own for sale on Afternic.com and he been enjoying time spent in their forum on domaining. After exchanging a few PMs with a member, they visited this blog and PMed me a really nice message...

You have inspired me and your family has a great man. We will keep you and your family in our prayers and you keep going my friend. It is a great and hard thing to do. I plan to develop habits and cook more with my kids. My shopping list will be much more healthy. I'm going to look up your friend that owns the gnc store and check him out, thanks! Thanks you so much for sharing and you've affirmed my goals. You and your family have a Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year.

Anna shared with me her struggle with weight and her daily struggles. I wish her good luck and I invite her to share her thoughts and feelings as she works toward better health and lower weight. It's a difficult battle by yourself. I'm always more encouraged when I meet anyone who deals with the same struggles I struggle with and is willing to openly talk about them.
