And no monkey bread. Of course getting home a little late and then preparing dinner for the family helped. And my youngest son was in a particular mood following dinner and it was later than normal so we got him ready for bed and he was in tears. So I offered to lay down with him in my bed and my middle son then joined us and I fell asleep with the boys and didn't wake up until the alarm went off this morning.
Apparently the secret to not doing any snacking at night is to go to bed early.
On a positive note I've lost the little bit of weight that I gained since Thanksgiving. Not that I gained a lot...its just I don't like seeing the scale go the wrong way when I'm trying to lose weight.
I think I have gotten over my challenges for the time being and I look forward to the next few weeks as I come to my one year anniversary of losing weight and getting healthier.

I am liking this idea of sleeping your way to slimness...I might just try that...and it was also great that you didn't let monkey bread get you into any monkey business..seems like our internet is working again after the snowplow hit the cable box...I am following your story ad...I think it is great how you are sharing..
Good for you!
