On Friday night we drove to Greenville from our home in Seneca to buy new shoes for our oldest son. We went to Steve & Barry's to buy the shoes at a suggestion of one of my wife's coworkers. A good idea.
Steve & Barry's had everything in the store priced at $8.98. Everything. Shoes, shirts, jeans, pants, sweats...you name it and if they sold it it was priced at $8.98.
We were able to purchase two shirts for me, shoes for my wife, two pairs of jeans and new shoes for one of my sons. Total spent? $57.00.
It seems to me that when most stores have sales the signs always says...75% off and then in small print 'some items excluded.' Not a true sale. At Steve and Barry's this was a true sale.
And...I tried on some pairs of 42 waist jeans. And they fit. Which is why I'm telling you this story.

that must have been an absolutely great and fun experience...and satisfying to fit into the 42 waist jeans..
we checked the store out here at one of the local malls..Knollwood..and know just what you are talking about...didn't buy anything though..
