Everyone's an expert

I just received some advice on how to lose weight. I will never claim to be an expert but I do claim to know what has worked for me and what didn't work in the past. And I always listen to others when they share stories of their success or failure. I always learn new things and sometime find a nugget of information that will help down the road.

I was told this morning by a friend who says he heard this from a nutritionist friend...it doesn't matter what you eat in the morning because everything we eat in the morning will be burned off through the course of the day.

I guess that makes sense...but I tend to believe that a breakfast is like a good foundation. It is the building blocks of a good day, a healthy start and of a day of good eating.

the foundation image is a good one ad.....and I think it is more than the calories that need to be considered...yes the calories will be burned off..but it apparently does have to do with getting your metabolism going as well..

if this were easy and if there was one way that worked for everyone...then everyone would be doing it and succeeding..

there is just layer after layer of information to absorb and process..

it seems people were just concerned about your tiredness and hoped to offer a suggetion that might help..adding calories came up for sure...but I think it really matters what calories you add...and the whole thing about portion control and sodium and fats and so many things....
