The spring is in full bloom in Upstate South Carolina and in Western North Carolina. My allergies may be the worst they've ever been. At least the worse in several years.
My eyes are always itching and I have a hard time breathing at night. One of the prices we pay I guess to live in such a beautiful place.
I honestly can't remember when I felt this bad...of course in the past when I felt allergies coming on I would get some meds from the doctor to help with the symptoms. I've not done that this year and now I'm suffering through the pollen.
I've heard over the years that if you eat local honey you won't be as affected by spring allergies. I wonder how that will work into my diet program. Local honey.

have you thought of trying saline solution........you can buy it over the counter and I hear it helps a lot with congestion...maybe it is just to help colds but it might help for allergies...it is worth a try...one of my clients who was pregnant talked about using saline solution..and pregnant ladies can't take medication...she used it instead of Afrin...just a thought honey.......
I hope you feel better soon..I have never had allergies so don't know how bad a person can feel..
I definitely recommend drugs! I've suffered from allergies most of my life, and they seemed to get worse as time went on. A course of allergy shots kind of stabilized things, but I still have symptoms most of the year from one thing or another. For me, Zyrtec (which is now available OTC, apparently) really works well, and on the really bad days, I top it off with Astelin (a nasal spray) and I'm usually able to stay quite comfortable. It makes a huge difference to being able to get a good night's sleep, so it's really worth another trip to the doctor.
