Down...finally

I stepped on the scale this morning and my weight was 269. I remember dropping down to 260 several months ago and telling myself I would never be above 270 again. Then it happened.

The interesting thing is the weight loss was not the hard part...the maintaining was. It was slow at first. I would only do one shake a day instead of two. Mostly because there was some reason to have lunch with a client or employee. I would tell myself I would just have a shake at dinner instead of what ever we were having as a family. Being that my wife is a great cook and I believe in eating as a family as often as possible, I ended up eating a dinner as well and telling myself...it's okay, it's just this once.

Just this once happened to often. And all of a sudden I was heavier than I needed to be again.

I really want to get down below 250 and hopefully get to 220. That would be 100 pounds from my known all time high weight.

So I'm back hard core on my protein shakes, with water, twice a day and no snacking and a very reasonable dinner. With it being the holidays, there are a lot of temptations. I will do my best to keep them at bay.
